Perfect for a quick stay near Navy base

I spent 2 nights here while attending Navy training. The location is super convenient with Walmart across the street and fast food like Raising Canes nearby. The room was clean but showed some wear. Staff were friendly, and the lobby has a nice vibe with a fireplace. Just wish there was a microwave in the room.

This hotel suits me perfectly! I love the free Wi-Fi, indoor swimming pool, and 24-hour reception. On my first stay, the staff helped me with my luggage, which I truly appreciated. Everyone is so friendly!

The elevator smelled terrible, and the condition of the property was just not acceptable. It felt neglected and had a worn-out ambience that was off-putting.

I appreciated the spacious and clean rooms, which were thoughtfully decorated. The accessible features made it easy for me to navigate, and I loved the inviting outdoor dining area with cozy seating.

More seating in the dining area would be nice.

i recently stayed here for a relaxing trip and was really impressed. the staff made everything so comfortable, which exceeded my expectations from my last visit in waukegan. the pool and bistro were highlights, providing a superb way to unwind and enjoy good food.

Friendly staff made the check-in process easy. Rooms need better soundproofing. noise from the road was disruptive. Great location near restaurants and shops. The hotel also offers bicycle rentals, which is a plus.

We had a delightful stay, especially when we got to enjoy a captivating evening show at the Genesee Theatre. The room was modern and spacious, perfect for our family with small kids. The staff welcomed us warmly, making us feel right at home!

In my wife’s opinion, a kids' play area would be great.

The staff was very nice, really went outta their way to make us feel at home. We’re talking about getting recommendations for food and even directions to the base for the graduation-it was all really thoughtful.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but, you know, standards have a price.

Excellent Location and Family-Friendly Staff

I recently stayed here for two nights in a King Room with Sofa Bed, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The staff was incredibly accommodating, especially for families attending Navy graduations. I appreciated the shuttle service to the ceremony, and the nearby restaurants catered nicely to various dining preferences. Starbucks was just next door. The only downside was the lack of a complimentary breakfast, which I had expected given other nearby hotels.

We checked out the Genesee Theatre and had a great time. The hotel was modern and clean, with a helpful staff that made everything easy. Definitely recommend it for group trips!

The pool area was pretty hot and the water could have been warmer, which was not ideal for us.
